A special Christmas tradition that has been attracting visitors to Senftenberg Castle every Advent for over thirty years is the large Christmas tree exhibition. The museum's support association decorates the almost forty trees in the castle with dexterity, imagination and a constant stream of new ideas. Whether crocheted figures, artistically hand-painted baubles, paper works, pendants made from natural materials or even recycled objects - the decorations are skilfully created over a period of months and attached to the fir trees with expertise.
