Johannes Römmler - an architectural avant-gardist

In the new special exhibition "Johannes Römmler - an architectural avant-gardist", we shed light on the impressive creative period of one of the most influential architects and architectural draughtsmen in Guben's historic centre. The building inspector and municipal building councillor Römmler worked in Guben for almost 35 years. He erected, designed and supervised numerous buildings until 1936. Johannes Römmler's influence can still be felt in many areas today. He not only left his mark on his generation, but also on the towns of Guben and Gubin right up to the present day and probably far beyond. The special exhibition can be seen from 11 June to 3 November 2024 at the Stadt- und Industriemuseum Guben.
