Extraction rates counted and environmental issues were hardly taken into account. The fate of the inhabitants and church communities was marked by economic constraints and insufficient compensation. The theme is illustrated with 27 models of mined churches, 4 film stations with short films about the communities in which those affected describe their backgrounds and fates, 18 maps of areas that no longer exist, and original exhibits of destroyed churches.
