Art Garden Festival on 03 and 04 June 2023 at the Dissen Museum of Local History - painters, jewellery designers, textile artists show their skills under the open sky.
\nAt the Art Garden Festival in Dissen, there will be a special opportunity to look over the shoulders of artists from a wide range of genres as they work on 3 and 4 June from 11:00 to 17:00. Under large trees and on our museum lawn, painters, photographers, textile artists and graphic designers show their works of art in a large open-air gallery.
\nIn a plein air of the School for Lower Sorbian Language and Culture, under the direction of Gabriele Gittel, watercolours, drawings and smaller works are created. The artists find their motifs under old tall trees behind the church, in the museum garden, in the medieval settlement \"Stary lud\" or simply on our museum lawn. Watch the artists at work, their choice of motifs and the creative process and get into conversation with them.
\nThe special thing about this art festival: many of the artistic works are for sale. The offer ranges from jewellery, watercolour sheets, oil paintings to textile works and many other beautiful things. Enjoy a glass of wine, a cup of coffee or fresh cake while listening to soft and poetic musical sounds and in a wonderful natural setting. The little ones have also been thought of.
