Oil painting by Monika Varga

The exhibition by Spremberg hobby artist Monika Varga will open in the Bloischdorf village museum on 21 April 2024. Monika Varga was born in Herzberg and was already very interested in art, music and sport during her school years. Thanks to the great enthusiasm of her teachers, she was able to exhibit her paintings in the school building. After completing her training as a chemical technician, she no longer had time for her hobby of painting. It wasn't until she retired, when she was relaxing in her garden, that she realised the beauty of nature again and felt the strong urge to capture this perfection in oil paint on canvas. The artist's works on display in the exhibition show a preference for floral, landscape, animal and portrait motifs.
