On Sunday, 23 June 2024, paintings by renowned artists will go under the hammer at the Romy Schneider Museum Schloss Klein Loitz: "For the first, for the second, for the third, sold...". Paintings, drawings and prints by the "Leipzig School", the "Bauhaus artists" and other international artists, including Max Klinger, Michael Triegel, Lyonel Feininger, Gerhard Marcks, Wolfgang Mattheuer, Werner Tübke, Marc Chagall, Joan Miró, Neo Rauch and Joseph Beuys.
Auctioneer Dr Michael Ulbricht, owner of the Leipzig book and art antiquarian bookshop, is auctioning off the works of art as part of a charity auction.
Part of the proceeds will go to the Romy Schneider Museum Schloss Klein Loitz for the expansion of the museum.
Admission is free.
The preview starts at 11:00 am.
Guided tours of the museum take place from 11.30 am.
The auction starts at 4.00 pm in the Green Salon of Klein Loitz Castle.
Coffee and cake will be provided for your physical well-being.
