Museum association hopes for support from the public!

Unfortunately, the Sängerbank site is not funded from the citizens' budget. However, we are hoping for support from the public to revitalise the damaged area at the Sängerbank on the Euloer Bruch. Last year, we began clearing and levelling the area that was severely damaged by a tornado. A new bench is already ready for reconstruction. Further work is planned for spring 2024 to give the site a new look. The talented artist Ryszard Zajac from Klein Jamno has presented a design for two of the remaining tree stumps. Unfortunately, the application was rejected as not compliant with the statutes, although the area is a popular recreational area for citizens and guests of the town of Forst (Lausitz). We are now looking for an alternative solution in order to take the necessary steps together. We need funding to remodel the area at the Sängerbank. We have already received the first donations through the events organised by the Forster Geschichtsstammtisch, but there is still a funding gap. We would very much appreciate your support in closing this gap.
