The Museum Showcase takes shape

The workshop of the Lusatian Museum Land working group in the LAG project of Spree-Neiße-Land e.V.: Around 20 representatives of museums from the Lusatian Museum Land working group came to the Welzow Archaeotechnical Centre (ATZ) on 30 August 2021 to make plans together for their cooperation in the near future. The wide-ranging brainstorming brought together many ideas in the afternoon of the one-day workshop on how the working group could present itself in the planned special exhibition "Schaufenster Museum". The portraits of the 40 museum partners will be presented in a modular way, and there will not only be something to read here. This much can already be revealed, everything else will follow in the coming months - including a brochure to accompany the special exhibition. Both will be on display for the first time in mid-March 2022 in the course of the opening of the exhibition in the Forster Kreishaus. We can look forward with anticipation! The project to further develop the Lusatian Museum Land working group is a LEADER project of the LAG Spree-Neiße-Land e.V. and is being expertly supported by the querfeldein consortium from Potsdam with PLANICON from Berlin and Dr Ulrich Müller and accentoo from Bautzen. Another important milestone in the project will be the development of a concept in which the participating offices will make concrete recommendations for action for the future cooperation of the 40 museums in the Lusatian Museum Land working group.
