Red school and coloured glass in the Heimatstube Tschernitz

In its exhibition, the Heimatstube focuses on the history of the glass industry in the village. From 1829 to 1984, hollow glass was produced in the second oldest glassworks in the region. Subsequently, screen production began, which was discontinued in 2007. The exhibits mainly show products from the years up to 1984.

Another focus is the school history of the village, which began in 1870 and unfortunately ended in 2003.
In the local history room - housed in the "Red School" - you can still see historical objects of daily use from household and trade.

The offer takes place indoors and is aimed at
Pupils from grades 6 to 10.
