Men forge, carve stones and carve spoons and small bowls from wood. You can look over the shoulders of the glass bead makers and silversmiths in the jewellery-making workshops of the time. A journey back in time to the everyday life of the Slavic tribes in the early Middle Ages shows how our ancestors might have lived. But you can also experience how they were made "live", from spinning with a hand spindle to dyeing with natural plants and weaving. What did the jewellery that men and women wore look like and what materials was it made of? Many questions to which you will easily find answers on this day. Unfortunately, the times in the 10th/11th century were not peaceful and warriors were part of normal life for protection. The power of the sword, axe and lance and the fighting techniques used can be experienced in small demonstration fights.
