The small settlement of pit houses from the Slavic Middle Ages, at the Dissen Museum of Local History, invites families with their children in particular to the opening of the season. The settlement section can be viewed in detail while listening to medieval music. The houses look as if their inhabitants had left their homes only briefly to work in the fields. So you can take a look at the warrior's house, the potter's house and the weaver's house and learn how people spun, wove, dyed and made pottery, but also how they wove baskets and did woodwork.
