Museums in the Spree-Neiße/Wokrejs Sprjewja-Nysa district may open from Whitsun!

The state government has issued a new "handling ordinance" that summarises the rules and regulations in dealing with the Sars-Cov-2 virus. This is associated with significant facilitations for museum visits, museum educational offers and events in museums.

The "Lusatian Museum Land" as a smartphone app

For all owners of a smartphone, there are two audio/video guides in which the museums of the "Lusatian Museum Land" are presented.

The audio guides entitled "Lusatian Museum Land - Industry, Mining, Excursion Destinations by Bike" and "Lusatian Museum Land - Sorbs/Wends, Erwin Strittmatter, Heimatstuben" are available on the Hearonymus platform.

Museum Night at the Brandenburg Textile Museum Forst (Lausitz) on 7 September

As an off-site location of the Steamrose Festival, which takes place at the same time in the town of Forst (Lausitz), the museum has prepared numerous offers for all age groups. In addition to regular guided tours of the clothmaker's workshop, including machine demonstrations, there is the opportunity to visit the special exhibition "Carnival in the Neisse Valley" for the last time.

The successful special exhibition "Photographic Memories between 1989 and 1991" at the Brandenburg Textile Museum Forst (Lausitz) ends on 2 June 2019.
